Meeree Yun attended the prestigious six-year acupuncture and oriental medicine undergraduate program at Kyung Hee University School of Oriental Medicine in Seoul, Korea. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in 1980, she passed the national Korean exam for oriental medicine and became a fully-licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Korea. While completing her residency work at Kyung Hee University Hospital, she also continued her education and earned a Master of Science degree in oriental medicine in 1983.
With a strong educational background and extensive clinical experience, Meeree came to the United States in 1983 with her husband. She opened her office in Virginia in 1983 and has been practicing ever since. Over the course of almost 30 years, she has built up a long history in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area as a warm, professional practitioner of acupuncture and oriental medicine.
